The centerpiece of this exhibition was a heavy-duty hardware WF-21B. It was ARAKAWA GRIP's most oversized heavy-weight hardware capable of acco xmmodating 6mm wire. The exhibition stand was designed to showcase this product. The emphasis was on its ability to suspend heavy objects, and the simplest way to express it was to display an enormous stone being pulled by the hardware. The title of the booth was "The TENSION. The hardware WF-21B was ixed to a natural stone weighing 1.5 tons and an iron post and tied with a 6mm-diameter wire to balance the tension on both sides. This ARAKAWA GRIP exhibit was created with a minimum number of three wires and generated a sensation of tenseness. Furthermore, combining natural objects with manufactured structures resulted in an exhibition design that had an unconventional impact. text by Masaaki Takahashi
