The aluminum picture frame "DUO" was designed in 2021 and uses ARAKAWA GRIP's BS-30B. The concept of "DUO" was a picture frame that could be hung vertically from a picture rail. Because we intended to use wires to hang the picture frame, we asked Mr. Arakawa to examine our design proposal during the development stage. He selected the BS-30B as a suitable metal fitting for its size and function.
In addition, we adjusted parts of "DUO" to accommodate the shape of BS-30B. It was an exciting experience to design a frame and metal fittings together as a single unit. As a result, "DUO" has been highly rated as an innovative frame that can be hung not only vertically but also double-sided, suspended vertically consecutively and even in the air.
