Space design for exhibitions aims to facilitate business negotiations. During the three-day trade shows, we exhibition designers are required not only to create a stunning booth but also to ensure a successful execution of the exhibition for clients. Inevitably, each part of the designed booth must contribute to the outcomes, such as bringing in visitors.
Accordingly, every design detail must be carefully calculated, including the size of the exhibition stand, the height of the letters, and the way the products are set up. ARAKAWA GRIP's wire system is used to install brochures and hang panels and other items. The primary functionality sought in this system is "adjustability," as well as "minimizing the presence of the elements. The placement of brochures by wires has the function of attracting visitors walking at a distance. Due to the minimal presence of the wiring, the entire pamphlet design can be showcased, triggering those visitors considering "picking up a pamphlet" to come closer to the booth. There were times when information panels were hung from the above to make them appear as if they were floating. This way, the space seems more open, and visitors are encouraged to proceed further into the exhibition space. There are many other possibilities for staging booths utilizing low-profile wire systems. Notably, the adjustability of the wiring system, which can be positioned according to the situation, is also an advantage of the wiring system.
