The Balloon series, which we have been producing since the establishment of the design studio h220430, utilizes delicate yet firm ARAKAWA GRIP to express a floating sensation. It is no exaggeration to say that the series would not be possible without the ARAKAWA GRIP. In particular, four types of ARAKAWA GRIP are selected for the Balloon bench, and I am writing this text on my return flight from Venice in 2023, where I had installed the Balloon bench in a gallery. After being exhibited there for a few months, it will be delivered to a collector in Florence. In addition to the Balloon bench, a significant number of pieces exhibited at this gallery in Venice are made possible by the work of ARAKAWA GRIP.
