In 1973, Dr. Hideo Arakawa establishes in Tokyo
- 1975
- Develops for the first time "The Gripper mechanism" in the world.
- 1979
- Develops a labor-saving tool "Hand Puller" for construction work.
- 1980

- Launches the gripper mechanism as “New Fastener Series” at the exhibition 'JAPAN SHOP'.
- Got win a prize Shoko Chukin Bank Award at JAPAN SHOP.

Launches "Filatii Σseries" and Got win a prize the Technology Development Award at JAPAN SHOP.
- 1984
- Got win the Good Design Award for AFS-11 & AF-3.
- 1986

Arakawa Hanging Systems USA Inc. in Portland, Oregon is established.

- Exhibits NADI SHOW in NY, USA.
